YA Indie Carnival ~ Songs That Inspire Stories in My Head

Wednesday, February 22, 2012

Music is one of those things that really gets the creative wheels turning for me. Scenes in my head come to life. Bands that really conjure stories in my head are: 30 Seconds to Mars, Black Lab, Andrew Belle, Parachute, and Snow Patrol.

I just found this one, and had to add it to my post. Close your eyes and listen. I see Ethan and Danielle together and kissing...or whatever...just as long as it's sappy. LOL

With Open Your Eyes, by Andrew Belle, I see the romantic parts of the story, as well as the sad...I see Ethan and Danielle waltzing...

When I listen to Weightless by Black Lab, I see Tessa and Christian from Fair Maiden...

Until next time....And as always, take a moment to check out my other carni friends at YA Indie Carnival.

I love your playlist Cheri... I hadn't heard of Black Lab before and that song is absolutely beautiful. I might just have to go check out their album!
I also LOVE 30 Seconds to Mars (it helps that Jared Leto is the lead singer, doesn't it?!)

Thanks for dropping by, Suzy! And, yes, you're very right about Jared Leto! :D
