Fairy Tale Giveaway Hop!!! Win a signed book!

Welcome to another great giveaway hop hosted by the amazing I Am A Reader, Not a Writer and vvb32reads! This giveaway runs from April 26th to May 1st. Thanks for visiting my blog and good luck!

I love the theme for this one because I love Fairy Tales. Believe it or not, Fateful was actually inspired by a fairy tale! The Frog Prince. The hero is just a vampire instead of a frog, and the plot is really quite different from the original tale...

Fair Maiden is a new spin on Sleeping Beauty. By adding a great deal of fantasy and a generous dose of paranormal, I don't think Fair Maiden is an ordinary retelling, though. I suppose my love affair with Fairy Tales is the reason why those antique stories have influenced my writing.

My top 3 favorite Fairy Tale heroes are:

#1 Prince Charming ~ What girl doesn't long to meet her own prince charming? I think even as we grow up we might secretly still wish for that. I don't think he always needs to be perfect, because silly personality quirks are what makes him even more lovable. Just like Flynn Rider in Tangled...

#2 Shrek ~ Need I say more?

#3 The woodsman in Little Red Riding Hood. ~ A tough guy with an ax who can take on the big bad wolf is always hot, right?

Now for the prize:
For one winner I will ship a signed paperback copy of Fair Maiden with a matching beaded bookmark. (USA only)

I want to live in Rupunzel's old tower now that she's moved back to the castle. That place had a killer view! I'm referring to the one from Tangled of course.

I would love to see either Sailor Moon retold in modern times or the story of Fire and Ice; an animated 80s movie! I grew up watching both and so to me those are my classic fairy tales! XD

I have always dreamed of being Snow White from Snow White and the Seven Dwarf's, because I thought she was just a beautiful representation of a fair maiden. :)

I want to see a retelling true to the original book of The Little Mermaid.

My favorite fairytale is Beauty and the Beast, a tale not only of romance but of friendship and redemption. However, there are many re-tellings of this fairytale, so I'd love to see a modern re-telling of "The Little Match Girl" or "The Matchbook Girl".

Thank you for your generosity, and for participating in this blog hop!

I'd like to see a modern version of The Emperor's New Clothes, though probably not about clothes, or the lack thereof. Something about the gullibility of some people and how foolish they actually can be.

I could read the story of Beauty and the Beast over and over. And Anastacia is a great story too!

Thanks for all of the GREAT comments!!! I really do appreciate that you all took the time.

Thank you, Lexie! xoxo

Hmmm, I wonder how I can do an unusual retelling of Beauty and The Beast, or Anastacia, or Cinderella, or...

And now I need to check out Cinder, but a cyborg Cinderella? Really. ~shivers~ LOL
