Welcome to another great giveaway hop hosted by the amazing I Am A Reader, Not a Writer and vvb32reads! This giveaway runs from April 26th to May 1st. Thanks for visiting my blog and good luck!
I love the theme for this one because I love Fairy Tales. Believe it or not, Fateful was actually inspired by a fairy tale! The Frog Prince. The hero is just a vampire instead of a frog, and the plot is really quite different from the original tale...
Fair Maiden is a new spin on Sleeping Beauty. By adding a great deal of fantasy and a generous dose of paranormal, I don't think Fair Maiden is an ordinary retelling, though. I suppose my love affair with Fairy Tales is the reason why those antique stories have influenced my writing.
My top 3 favorite Fairy Tale heroes are:
#1 Prince Charming ~ What girl doesn't long to meet her own prince charming? I think even as we grow up we might secretly still wish for that. I don't think he always needs to be perfect, because silly personality quirks are what makes him even more lovable. Just like Flynn Rider in Tangled...
#2 Shrek ~ Need I say more?
#3 The woodsman in Little Red Riding Hood. ~ A tough guy with an ax who can take on the big bad wolf is always hot, right?
Now for the prize:
For one winner I will ship a signed paperback copy of Fair Maiden with a matching beaded bookmark. (USA only)

I want to live in Rupunzel's old tower now that she's moved back to the castle. That place had a killer view! I'm referring to the one from Tangled of course.
I also love Anastasia although growing up Cinderella was my favorite fairy tale but it has been retold many times.

I would love to see either Sailor Moon retold in modern times or the story of Fire and Ice; an animated 80s movie! I grew up watching both and so to me those are my classic fairy tales! XD
i love all the fairy tales! and i would love it if there was really a book like the one they have on once upon a time where all the fairy tales were told together and they all interacted with each other in the same story : )
I would love to see a retelling of Cinderella that isn't cheesy, but beautifully done.

I love fairy eales too and was so excited to see this blog hop!
Thanks for the giveaway! I absolutely LOVE the Disney movie Tangled!! I watch it all the time! :)
There have been so many retelling's that I have read and really loved. I think a modern day day Goldie Locks and the 3 bears would be kinda fun!!!
There have been so many already retold. I can't really think of one.
I think a retelling of Sleeping Beauty would be awesome! And-- I'm sure there's already one out there somewhere-- a retelling of Snow White would be pretty sweet, too.
I have always dreamed of being Snow White from Snow White and the Seven Dwarf's, because I thought she was just a beautiful representation of a fair maiden. :)

Cinderella is one of my favorites right now, because I liked CINDER and ASH so much
I love Beauty and the Beast.
I want to see a retelling true to the original book of The Little Mermaid.
My favorite fairytale is Beauty and the Beast, a tale not only of romance but of friendship and redemption. However, there are many re-tellings of this fairytale, so I'd love to see a modern re-telling of "The Little Match Girl" or "The Matchbook Girl".
Thank you for your generosity, and for participating in this blog hop!
I'd like to see a retelling of Snow White.
Read "Cinder"! It's a really good book about Cinderella as a cyborg :)
I would really like to see a retelling of Hansel and Gretel. It is an often overlooked fairy tale, but a really cool and creepy concept. thanks for the giveaway!
Robin Hood is probably my fave. I love what he stands for. Just a great tale, and I could use more retellings of his story! Or her!
Jaime

I'd love to see the Swan Princess retold. Thanks for the chance!
My favorite fairy tale here is Prince Charming. He's a classic!
I'd love to see sleeping beauty retold. She could fall asleep hundreds of years ago and reawaken in modern times. I think it would be fascinating to see.
Loved Pinocchio! Dreams do come true. I had the record and book that I would play on the record player over and over when I was a little girl.
I love retellings of The Ugly Duckling. I think it translates very well to modern day stories. Thanks for the chance to win your book!
I really like the tale of Bearskin. I have only seen one children's book. I'm hoping to find other adaptations someday. For now, I may consider writing my own for NaNoWriMo.
I've always loved Rumpelstilskin, so I would love to see more retellings of it.
and the Twelve Dancing Princesses!

I'd like to see a modern version of The Emperor's New Clothes, though probably not about clothes, or the lack thereof. Something about the gullibility of some people and how foolish they actually can be.
I could read the story of Beauty and the Beast over and over. And Anastacia is a great story too!
Thanks for all of the GREAT comments!!! I really do appreciate that you all took the time.
Thank you, Lexie! xoxo
Hmmm, I wonder how I can do an unusual retelling of Beauty and The Beast, or Anastacia, or Cinderella, or...
And now I need to check out Cinder, but a cyborg Cinderella? Really. ~shivers~ LOL
