Midwinter’s Eve Giveaway Hop December 21st to 31st

Saturday, December 20, 2014

Midwinter’s Eve Giveaway Hop Hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A Writer & Bookhounds
December 21st to 31st

A special Holiday message from Cheri to you...
This may seem unconventional, but this time of year can be emotionally difficult for so many, especially if you’ve suffered any sort of tragedy in your life. I’ll admit I’m one who struggles with finding peace this time of year... Sometimes we all just need a mental escape from the things that drag down our spirits. So just for a short time, take a break from reality with me. Let me take you to a world of fantasy so you can forget your cares momentarily. And then when you get back to the realities of life, I hope you might feel like your broken heart has had a chance to heal even partially, or even in some small way. At least that is my heartfelt wish.

Winner will be able to choose any one of these prizes:

~A Kindle eBook copy of The Fateful Series box set, valued at 8.99, which will include: Fateful, Fractured, Forever, Sophia's  Cookbook for Mortals, and The Order of Curse-Bound Knights (Soon to be released! If this prize is chosen, it will be awarded on the release date. USA only.)

 OR

~Danielle's Fairy Necklace as described in Forever. It will magically keep wicked pixies away...and werewolves...perhaps. Valued at $34.99. (This is handmade and will be shipped after it is made. USA only.)

OR

~An audiobook copy of either Fateful or Fractured as produced by Tristan Hunt from Audible, valued at $19.95-$24.95. (Listen to the samples right now. ;) This prize is available to USA and UK customers.)

And check back later when I'll be posting a preview of
The Order of Curse-Bound Knights.

Use the Rafflecopter form below to enter. Only one option is required to enter.

As November wraps up, I must say Thank You!!!

Wednesday, November 28, 2012

Sorry I haven't been around much, but as you may know, I've been busy working on my NaNoWriMo project for November. Sadly, because of the holiday and other interruptions, I haven't reached my goal just yet. Never fear, though, I'm still cranking away at Max and Nadia's story as fast as I can! They've shared a great deal of their story with me, so I'm very eager to share it with you!!!

Anyhow...

As I work on this project, book reviews mean a great deal to me...to any writer, really. Your generous support is what motivates me to keep writing. I will say it's a difficult and scary thing for me to keep sharing what's going on  inside my head, so without your support, I'm not sure I could keep going. Because of this, I'm truly grateful to you.

To thank you, my valued readers, for this, please check out my exclusive Facebook Fan Page giveaway! These awesome prizes are ONLY available through the Facebook giveaway.

And...this giveaway is the only one I have open to my international readers! The ones posted here are for USA only, and only my eBooks are available via my blog.

If you're interested in winning Danielle's Fair Necklace, or a signed cope of one of my books, or one of the other prizes shown here, please head on over to my Facebook Fan Page to check it out.

(There are only three more days to enter for November. Don't miss out. ;)

One prize will be awarded to one winner each month, so the more entries you have, the more chances you have to win. If you entered last month, your entry still counts! Entries carry over from month to month, so if you didn't win this month, you could win next month.

Prizes include signed copies of my books, Danielle’s fairy or pearl necklaces, Sophia’s apron, or Danielle’s antique teacup as mentioned in Forever. (Click on the pictures to see each item in greater detail.)

This giveaway can't be entered via my blog, it is only for my Facebook Fan Page. For details on how to enter, go here:

To the Left is pictured Danielle's Fairy Necklace as described in Forever. For a detailed description, go here.

To the right is pictured Danielle's Pearl Necklace as described in Fateful. For a detailed description, go here.

This is Danielle's favorite teacup and saucer as described in Forever. It's a real antique, and I'll only giveaway a few of these.

I haven't made a sample of Sophia's apron yet, but it will be white and trimmed in lace.

This giveaway can't be entered via my blog, it is only for my Facebook Fan Page. For complete details on how to enter, go here:

Midsummer's Eve Giveaway Hop

Tuesday, June 19, 2012

Welcome to another awesome giveaway hop hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A Writer and Uniquely Moi Books.

It's probably because of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, but when I think of Midsummer's Eve, I just can't help but think of fairies. Of course many different countries have a variety of ways to celebrate it, many of them with bonfires, and I don't really know if fey have much to do with any of these celebrations or not.

Since fairies are on my mind, however, I figured what better thing to giveaway than Danielle's Fairy Necklace? This piece is described in Forever (Book 3 in The Fateful Trilogy). It was given to Danielle by the fairies and somewhat like the fairies in Shakespeare's tale, the sneaky little sprites play tricks on Danielle and Ethan as well.

This necklace is handmade from antique brass findings and chain from VintaJ. The aqua crystals are real Swarovski faceted beads. The center drop is a pale aqua, 8mm, Amazonite bead. The beautiful antique brass bead in the back is so pretty you can wear it backwards for two different looks. This Victorian design is unique and will be a piece that people will ask where you got it from. The matching aqua crystal earrings are included in the set. On my website, I charge $39.99 for this set. (Note: The three-way connector in the center will be slightly different, seems I can't purchase that one any longer, but the replacement is equally as nice, if not better! If I have time, I'll take some more photos for you.)

To enter:
(This giveaway is now closed. I'll contact the winner directly very soon. And thanks to the 235 of you who entered!!! Wow!!! Heh, wish that had translated into new book sales. LOL Oh well.)

1 mandatory entry:
Follow my blog via Google Friends Connect or email subscription and fill out the form below so I can contact you if you win.

For optional extra entries:
+1 Pin the Fairy necklace on Pinterest.

+1 Like my Facebook Fan Page.

Gratitude Giveaway Hop ~ Win Danielle's Pearl Necklace

Saturday, November 19, 2011

Here is another giveaway hop for you hosted by the delightful I Am A reader, Not A Writer and All-Consuming Books. This giveaway runs from November 17th to the 27th. Winners will be chosen on the 28th. Good luck!!!

I'm grateful to all of my loyal readers who read and liked Fateful, and took the time out of your busy schedules to tell me how much you liked it, and posted good reviews for me. Nothing motivates me more to keep writing more than getting a good review! To thank you for your kind words, here is what I'm giving away...

The prizes:
~The grand prize is a copy of Danielle's pearl necklace as mentioned in Fateful, book 1 in the Fateful Trilogy. This necklace is made with white glass pearls and antique brass accents. This necklace has an extender chain on the back, but I'll customize it by making it either longer or shorter as needed. The pair of matching earrings are shown in the second photo. This set is slightly chunky, but very flattering on and it will soon go up for sale on Etsy. (If you loved Fateful, then think of this for Christmas! ;) Take a look...

~And the runner-up prize is a beaded bookmark, custom made for you in your favorite colors. There are two shown in the pictures below.

Thanks for entering!!! With more than 200 entries I think I had a great response to this giveaway. I'll notify the winner via email as soon as I choose the name.

Have you read the books yet? If not, you should so you'll know why this necklace is very significant, and so you know why more than 17 thousand copies have sold, and so you're ready for the release of Forever! I'm just saying...

Good luck and thanks for stopping by to say hi!
Note: originally I'd said USA only. But I changed my mind. I will open-up the eBook and the bookmark to international readers as well.

What are readers saying about the Fateful Series?

This literary arts teacher reviewed both books on her blog and put them on her summer reading list for her students: "They were both phenomenal books, and the best part is there is a 3rd in the series. Woohoo! I can’t wait!"
"All I can say is I love this book! It pulled me in quickly, and I instantly fell in love with Ethan. He is one of the most likeable characters to be introduced in a long time. Dare I compare his likeability to Edward Cullen? I loved Cheri Schmidt's writing style. I finished this book in a day because I couldn't put it down, and I can't wait to start the next one." ~Christine

"I read this book front to back in one day.....I was useless to the world in all other ways but I HAD TO FINISH IT. Its a different spin on the vampire and with just enough detail to give the great visual image but with a quickly evolving plot. Not to slow....Not to fast....so you can enjoy the ride! LOVE LOVE LOVE" ~ Glo

"I usually don't take the time to write reviews (and I wouldn't consider this one a review) BUT I absolutely LOVED this book and Fractured. I couldn't put my book (kindle) down. I kept wanting to read more and more. I loved the romance in the book. I fell in love with Ethan! I loved how much of a TRUE gentleman he was!!!"
